Should a transcoded archive replace my approved product-ad master?

Work through the cause

1. Label the approved delivered master separately from project media and archive candidates. Record why transcoding is being considered.
2. Transcode a representative copy and inspect product edges, gradients, titles and sound against the source. Retain the original media during evaluation.
3. Reopen the archived project with its collected media and verify the used shots. Document any deliberate differences in the archive package.

A concrete case (illustrative)

Illustrative case: a compact editing archive is produced after a campaign launches. It should not silently replace the file that the merchant actually approved and uploaded.

Acceptance and next action
