A+ product pages / PRACTICAL GUIDE
How to make an A+ dimensions or specifications image buyers can read
Supply the measurements yourself, label their meaning, and use a layout with enough space for short text. The generator can visualize a specification block; it cannot measure your product or guarantee every number is rendered correctly.
Create a specification source of truth
Record width, depth and height from a real product or reliable supplier document. Define what is being measured: the item, the retail box or the shipping package. For capacity, distinguish nominal volume from usable internal space. Those details prevent a visually neat but misleading diagram.
A hypothetical organizer might be described as 220 mm wide, 140 mm deep and 80 mm high. These example values are not facts for your item. Use your own measurements, include tolerances if relevant, and identify which surface each dimension refers to. Do not mix inches and millimeters without checking the conversion.
Choose a clear visual hierarchy
| Information | Presentation | Review |
|---|---|---|
| Overall size | One simple view with W, D and H labels | Arrow endpoints correspond to the stated measure |
| Capacity | Short verified capacity line | Units and scope are correct |
| Material | Concise material label or detail image | Matches supplier evidence |
| Included items | A separate contents module where needed | No implied extras |
Avoid placing a full technical sheet over a lifestyle photograph. A specification module needs breathing room. A model can show approximate context in another module, but their appearance is not a measuring instrument.
Generate a specification module in Itemlume
- Open A+ product pages and select dimensions or detailed specifications.
- Upload clear product views and enter the approved numeric data with units.
- Choose the intended copy language and an aspect ratio that can hold the information.
- Generate the selected module and compare every rendered label with the approved data.
If you need a precise engineering drawing or a dense data table, use appropriate drafting or layout tools. AI imagery is better suited to a short explanatory graphic than a production drawing with exact geometry and tolerances.
Test the image where people will read it
View the result at the size it will occupy on a phone. Check whether the numbers remain readable and whether a buyer can tell the item from its box. Zoom in to inspect numerals that can be confused, such as 1 and 7 or 0 and 8. A source value that was entered correctly may still be rendered incorrectly.
Keep the editable source measurements outside the raster image. If the product changes, update the source first and replace every affected visual. Do not adjust only a caption while leaving the old dimension in the picture. Publication is an approval step with factual consequences, even when the image looks decorative.

Frequently asked questions
Can Itemlume measure a product from my photo?
No. Supply verified measurements. A photograph alone does not establish exact dimensions or capacity.
Should I use a model to show size?
A model can provide approximate context, but exact size should be stated with verified measurements in a separate specification visual.
Is an AI specification image an engineering drawing?
No. It is an explanatory visual and needs checking. Use appropriate technical tools for manufacturing or precise drawings.
