Which personalized-product proof did the buyer actually approve?

Use an explicit versioned proof rather than an informal screenshot conversation. The approved text and its placement belong to one product variant and one proof version. A later regenerated preview must not silently replace what the buyer reviewed.

01 / WHICH PERSONALIZED-PRODUCT PROOF DID THE BUYER ACTUALLY APPROVE?

Identify the proof’s purpose

For an illustrative engraved gift tag, the proof may confirm the spelling and arrangement of a name, while the real production process determines engraving depth and finish. State what the proof does and does not establish. A generated mockup is not automatically a production file or evidence of the final physical result.

Use fictional example names in public marketing. Keep a real buyer’s personalization and approval record private with appropriate access. Do not reuse a personal message as a public demonstration merely because it appears in an attractive image.

02 / WHICH PERSONALIZED-PRODUCT PROOF DID THE BUYER ACTUALLY APPROVE?

Record the approval identity

If the buyer requests a change, create a new proof version and obtain the appropriate approval through your actual business workflow.

03 / WHICH PERSONALIZED-PRODUCT PROOF DID THE BUYER ACTUALLY APPROVE?

Keep generated imagery in its lane

Use a concept preview to communicate appearance when its limitations are understood. For exact text or placement, an external editable artwork workflow may be necessary. Itemlume does not manage buyer proof acceptance or guarantee character-perfect engraving previews.

04 / WHICH PERSONALIZED-PRODUCT PROOF DID THE BUYER ACTUALLY APPROVE?

Verify the handoff

Compare the final production artwork with the approved proof identity and text. Record any deliberate change instead of relying on memory. Use text proofing for characters and reapproval scope for edits after approval.

05 / WHICH PERSONALIZED-PRODUCT PROOF DID THE BUYER ACTUALLY APPROVE?

A versioned text change

A fictional buyer approves proof P02 with one spelling, then asks for a revised date. Create P03 that identifies the new exact text and the same sale variant, rather than editing P02 in place. Obtain the appropriate approval through the actual business process before production. A generated marketing preview made afterward remains illustrative and does not replace that record. Public examples should use fictional or authorized names. This workflow protects the link between the approved wording, the chosen item and the artwork supplied for production.
