DELIVERY TROUBLESHOOTING / Image remix

Why does centering my campaign badge move it to the wrong part of the canvas?

Check the alignment reference. Aligning several selected layers to each other is a different task from centering a badge within a specific panel or the full canvas.

01 / WHY DOES CENTERING MY CAMPAIGN BADGE MOVE IT TO THE WRONG PART OF THE CANVAS?

Work through the cause

  1. Identify the intended panel and its visible bounds. Temporarily hide unrelated objects that make the reference ambiguous.
  2. Select the badge and the intended alignment reference using the workflow available in your document. Use guides to verify the panel center.
  3. Inspect the result with all artwork visible and at the actual delivery size. Check optical balance without changing the approved brand mark’s proportions.
02 / WHY DOES CENTERING MY CAMPAIGN BADGE MOVE IT TO THE WRONG PART OF THE CANVAS?

A concrete case (illustrative)

Illustrative case: a two-column banner needs a badge centered in the right panel. Centering against the complete canvas puts it near the divider. Define the panel reference rather than nudging unrelated layers until the composition appears acceptable.

03 / WHY DOES CENTERING MY CAMPAIGN BADGE MOVE IT TO THE WRONG PART OF THE CANVAS?

Acceptance and next action

Pass when the badge aligns with the intended panel and its spacing remains consistent in exported layouts. Mathematical centering and optical balance can differ; document an intentional optical adjustment instead of hiding a mistaken reference.
