AI models / PRACTICAL GUIDE
Official models vs My models: choosing and saving a reference
Official models are ready-made public AI references available to choose. My models contains references associated with your own account. Pick a model when a person helps explain the product, and leave it off for product-only visuals.
Understand the two libraries
| Library | What it contains | Best starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Official models | A shared catalog of 26 AI-created references | Trying a model-led visual without creating a new identity |
| My models | Your saved account references | Developing a specific recurring person appearance |
The current official set includes 13 female and 13 male references, mostly adults, with child and senior options and a range of skin tones. They are synthetic reference images, not photographs of hired models or guaranteed representations of every demographic. Your personal saved references are scoped to your account.
Choose a model for the job
A model can help show how a bag is carried or how a garment looks in context. It is often unnecessary for a clean identification shot, a logo or a specification graphic. The presence of a person is a creative decision, not a default requirement for every image.
Open AI models to browse the official set or your own collection. Model selectors in relevant image workbenches separate the same two libraries. Choose Female or Male to browse the official catalog. Selection cards show head avatars; generation still receives the full person reference. Age and skin-tone details remain visible beside each name. Review those details rather than relying only on a name.
Use personal references deliberately
- Generate an adult model from a clear appearance brief, or upload an appropriate adult reference you have the right to use.
- Review the result’s face, anatomy and overall suitability.
- Save it to My models before using it across workbenches.
- Select the saved reference for the relevant product, A+ or fashion scene.
The current account library allows up to forty saved personal models. Private model files require authentication; the intentionally public official catalog is separate. Do not upload someone else’s photograph without appropriate authorization or use a recognizable person to imply an endorsement they have not given.
Keep age and context appropriate
Official child references are suitable only for ordinary age-appropriate family or product imagery. Avoid adult styling and unsafe contexts. Current personal model creation and uploads are intended for adults. Read the selected reference’s age group instead of assuming every catalog entry is adult.
Review each finished scene for identity, age appearance, pose and product truth. A saved reference guides the generator; it does not create a perfect identity lock. When a video needs the selected model, create and approve a combined person-and-product scene first and use that image as the video’s starting frame.

Frequently asked questions
Are My models visible to other users?
Personal saved model references are account-scoped. The separate official catalog is intentionally public.
How many official models are available?
The current catalog has 26 AI-created references spanning children, adults and seniors, with most entries being adults.
Do all tools need a model?
No. Enable a person only when it adds useful product or audience context. Product-only, logo and packaging concepts can stay focused on the object.
