FASHION & ACCESSORY PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

Keep the garment and the model as two separate review decisions.

AI-assisted fashion product photography can explore a scene using a product reference and an adult model reference. The face may look plausible while the garment changes, or the garment may look correct while anatomy drifts. Review identity, clothing, and product detail separately before selecting an image.

01 / FASHION AND MODEL PHOTOGRAPHY

Use references that answer the visual brief

Keep a clear image of the real garment or accessory, including the features you need to show. For apparel, that can mean fabric texture, seam placement, trim, closure, printed artwork, and the visible cut. For bags and shoes, retain the straps, hardware, soles, and original proportions.

Choose an authorized adult model photo or a fictional adult reference saved in Itemlume. Reusing that image can guide facial and hair cues. It does not train a dedicated identity model, lock a body shape, or guarantee continuity across poses.

02 / FASHION AND MODEL PHOTOGRAPHY

Make the request smaller than a fitting simulation

Begin with an uncomplicated composition and a source-visible product angle. Keep hands away from critical garment details where the scene permits. Avoid asking the model to reveal a back panel, lining, zipper, or sole that is absent from the reference.

Fashion scene brief · an untested starting direction

Use the product reference to guide the item's visible cut, fabric, seams, print, and color. Use the separate adult model reference only to guide identity. Create a quiet studio composition with a neutral pose and soft even light. Keep the product details unobstructed and the background plain. Do not invent a new logo, alter the print, add accessories, or imply a measured fit. Leave the upper-left area clear for copy added in a separate layer.

03 / FASHION AND MODEL PHOTOGRAPHY

Review four layers before accepting a variant

LayerReviewDo not infer
PersonFace, hair, hands, limbs, and contact pointsThat one reference guarantees the same person across a campaign
ProductPrint, stitching, closures, pockets, straps, and hardwareThat plausible fabric is the actual fabric
RelationshipOcclusion, apparent scale, drape, grip, and shadowsTrue fit, comfort, measurements, or wear performance
CommunicationAccurate product name, variant, copy, and contextA real customer endorsement from a generated person

Compare accepted images together to catch identity and styling drift. A small variation in crop can be harmless; a changed sleeve shape, print, or closure is a product discrepancy.

04 / FASHION AND MODEL PHOTOGRAPHY

Use the first approved image as the boundary for motion

For a product video, first approve the combined person-and-product image. Itemlume's video workflow starts from that frame; it does not independently guarantee identity or garment fidelity over time. Prefer limited movement and inspect the entire clip for changing patterns, fingers, proportions, and details.

The documented model workflow shows one completed product-holding image, not a validated apparel try-on benchmark. Do not generalize that example into a claim that every garment, pose, or fabric will work.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Frequently asked questions

Is Itemlume an AI virtual try-on service?

No. The current workflow generates reference-led images. It does not simulate measured fit, recommend a size, or show how clothing will fit a particular body.

Can I reuse the same model for several product photos?

Yes, reuse a saved adult reference to guide identity. Review every result for facial, hair, anatomy, and styling differences.

Will the original fabric and print stay exact?

They can change during generation. Compare texture, pattern, seams, closures, and color against the actual product source.

Does the public model example validate clothing generation?

No. It documents one model-and-product workflow. It is not a retained test set for clothing, fit, or repeatability across a fashion campaign.
